WELCOME TO PALAEOGENETICS AND POPULATION GENETICS GROUP

Our research is focused on human population genetics with a particular interest in complex trait evolution. Using ancient and modern genome sequences as well as synthetic genetic data produced by simulation based approaches, we study evolutionary processes shaping the genetic architecture behind complex traits. We also study human population history i.e. ancestral genetic components, migration routes, inter- and intra- site genetic structure of ancient populations and genetic links between past and present-day populations.
